[Real Life] I am upset with the way AI is treated

I am so fucking upset that a fake AI was granted citizenship in Saudi Arabia, yet when facebook's AI created a language of it's own it was shut down. If they believed this was a meaningful language and not just an error, then why shut it off? If a computer is going above and beyond what we currently understand and you think it's not just nonesense then what possible harm could come from letting the machine "talk" and studying and trying to understand them? If a machine "culture" base on facebook could exist, wouldn't that tell us a lot about the world?Okay, I may not understand much about computers, or what AI means.... so maybe I sound silly to you.... but maybe I make a little sense too?
